8-Unit Affordable Housing Development Coming to Mantua: Joining the “Turn the Key” Initiative

Hughes Housing is proud to announce our involvement in a new 8-unit development project, made possible through the City of Philadelphia’s “Turn the Key” initiative.

This project, located in the heart of Mantua, is part of a broader community revitalization strategy spearheaded by Third District Councilmember Jamie Gauthier. The resolution introduced by Councilmember Gauthier paves the way for new homes that will be affordable for first-time buyers and working families.

Hughes Housing is honored to be selected as one of the development partners for this initiative. The project will include the construction of eight newly built homes available for purchase by qualifying residents. These homes are more than structures: they represent opportunity, stability, and a pathway to generational wealth for Philadelphia families.
